April Breath Practice

Sahasrara

Morning Sadhana : Sahasrara Chakra Dhyana – 7 min

  1. Sit in a comfortable posture with your back straight/ spine erect.
  2. If you are using chair to sit – keep your back straight and feet touching the floor.
  3. Hands mudra: Index finger touching base of your thumb; place your palms at edge of your knees facing skywards.
  4. Visualize Sahasrara Chakra on crown of your head or simply bring your awareness to crown of your head.
  5. Close your eyes – inhale deeply and slowly through your nose, and as you exhale, chant: OOGUM – SATYAM – AUM
  6. Inhalation and exhalation is best in the ratio of 1:2. (Outbreath twice as long as inbreath.) Repeat the process for seven minutes.

{Practice best done on empty stomach}
