ABOUT THE POOJA

Vaikunta Ekadasi is considered one of the most auspicious days in the Hindu tradition. It is believed that sincere prayer and worship on this day lead directly to the abode of heaven.

• The pooja is performed with lakhs of Tulasi (holy basil) leaves offered in devotion.
• It is believed that on this sacred day, Vaikunta Dwaram — the gate to the Lord’s inner sanctum — is opened.
• This pooja is traditionally performed by those who are alive, seeking moksha (spiritual liberation).

• Spiritual Liberation: Believed to grant Moksha and freedom from the cycle of rebirth.
